Posted on December 27, 2023 by Garber Communities
It’s easy to see why people love RV life. With your home on wheels, you can hit the open road in comfort and explore thousands of incredible places, from world-renowned destinations to hidden gems.
It’s also easy to see why people love visiting the Sunshine State. When you put the two together, it’s bound to be good!
Whether you’re looking for sunrises on the east coast, sunsets on the west coast or a way to get in touch with the old Florida, there are amazing RV communities all over Florida. Here are a few of our favorites at Garber Communities.
Holiday Springs RV Resort
If you love nature, Holiday Springs RV Resort is one of the best RV parks in Florida. Located in Spring Hill, this RV resort is full of ways to be active and explore the real Florida. Take a nature walk around the private lake or challenge your friends to pickleball or shuffleboard. You can even take a dip in a spring-fed swimming pool—the only one of its kind in the country!
Outside of the resort is even more to explore. As you might know, the springs were one of the first tourist destinations in Florida. Spring Hill lives up to its name, with many ways to explore them. Visit the iconic mermaids at Weeki Wachee Springs State Park or head to Buccaneer Bay, Florida’s only spring-fed water park.
Water lovers can also swim with the manatees in nearby Crystal River or kayak at any number of places in the area. Alfred McKethan Pine Island Park is also close for the perfect beach day.
No matter what kind of water you love, Holiday Springs RV Resort provides the perfect launching point for any old Florida adventure.
Orchid Lake RV Resort
If you’re looking for an idyllic west coast Florida town, we can’t recommend New Port Richey enough. And Garber Communities’ Orchid Lake RV Resort is the place to park while you take it all in.
If you want to be close to the beach, you absolutely can’t miss Anclote Key. This state park is only accessible by private boat or ferry service, so you can have much of the stunning blue-green waters to yourself.
New Port Richey also has plenty to do, with tons of festivals, great shopping and dining, and entertainment like at the Richey Suncoast Theater, a historic movie theater that is now a playhouse.
Looking for even more? New Port Richey is just a few miles from the attractions, sports and culture of Tampa. When you stay at Orchid Lake RV Resort, you truly get a sense of what makes Florida’s west coast special.
SugarMill Mobile Home Park
Looking for more sunrises instead of sunsets? Get a taste of the spirit of Florida’s east coast in New Smyrna Beach! Garber Communities’ SugarMill Mobile Home Park can offer the perfect home base to explore.
New Smyrna Beach is definitely a local favorite, with gorgeous sand and stunning coastline. And it’s just a few minutes from SugarMill. It’s the perfect beach to set up a few chairs and play with the family or take a leisurely stroll.
Once you brush off the sand, the town itself is also great to explore. New Smyrna Beach has a thriving arts community, and there are treasures galore in the shops around the area. SugarMill is one of the best RV resorts if you really want to live the beach life.
As all RV enthusiasts know, the fun is in the journey. Florida offers so many amazing towns—small and big—to explore. We think we offer some of the best at Garber Communities, no matter what kind of adventure you’re looking for.General
